Demo Title: Human Faraday Cage


Subject: Gauss' Law


Description:
Place a human sized faraday cage (top of D2) over a person, approach a Van de Graaff (D/1/4a) and watch as charge transmitted does not penetrate through the faraday cage.


Procedure:

1. First show that the sparks between the smaller sphere and the Van De Graff sphere by putting them near each other. 2. Then, wear the faraday cage and try to place your hand near the Van De Graff sphere to see the sparks between. *Do not touch Van De Graff just hover near it.*
